I made it to the gym this morning and felt great. Did just enough to challenge myself without over doing it. 5 minutes of stretching - everything was sooooo tight 20 minutes eliptical 120 - 150 HR Ball Squats with 10 lbs weights - arms straight out 3 X 15 (HR recovery just skyrocketed on this to 160 and recovery back to 120 seem to take so long - so out of shape!!) Free Motion Chest Press while sitting on the ball 1 X 25, 1 X 20, 1 X 12 - Not sure what weight Dana had on but he started light and increased each set. Was hard to figure out where I was at. Regular Bench Chest Press - 3 X 15 - Just the 40lbs Bar!! Deadlifts - stradle 40lbs bar + 27 1/2 lb plates lifting one end/one on the ground 3 X 15 New type of dumbell shoulder press (just 5lbs dumbells was enough - I was doing 20 - 25's before surgery.. lol!!) with more range of motion 3 X 15 Boxing - Dana had on target gloves - did a few rounds with him. Total workout was an hour and I burned about 550 calories which is a great workout. I felt like such a noob all over again! It was a lot of fun to be back in the gym.

Wow, good job!!! Nothing for me, I am in the arm pit known as Fresno, as I write this it is 98 degrees, going into the 100's tomorrow, I am staying in except for a glass of wine and dinner (and an iced latte after it cools down)

That sounds like the perfect plan!!!MMMM iced latte. I hear Fresno is a great place though to buy a house cheap if you don't mind the commute.

Yep - N00b - Newbie = same thing =) I made it again today too!! Whoo hoo 2 - days in a row. 30 min of full body arc trainer cardio and then some ab work.. we are talking really short and sweet ab work. My abs feel pretty funky still. It's as if I lost all that flexibility. I could hardly do a backbend over the PT ball. I could only touch the floor with my finger tips. No way I was going to raise my body off it.
