What's the skinny on your workout today??

Hi all! I'm a newbie on this weightlifting board....but I know Mike and Kristie! Today for me.....15 minutes on the treadmill at 3.4 and 15 on the bike...then off to do some pull backs, pull downs, tricep work and chest... Just a short workout for me today....still having a hard time getting back after vacation....even though I workout while on vacation...just seems I been draggin' since we got home a week ago. However, each day is a new day right? I'm also taking it easie because my sciatic nerve is acting up again and very painful! So how's your day goin? Julie

Hey Julie! Welcome!! Glad to have you onboard! Mike and Kristie are awesome! I would love to get to meet them in person one day! Funny, I took a week off just to get back into my routine and head cleared out! Tonight is going to be cardio night for me, I am going to crack out my Billy Blanks Tae Bo and start learning it. I told my daughter no laughing!! I know, it's a boogar trying to get your groove back after vacation. Earl and I are going on a cruise in September and I am so excited, I am sure coming back home will be somewhat anticlimatic! Take care, keep posting! Val

Monday at my gym they were filming for their weekly show "Get Fit with Gold's" and I got to be in it!!! I did an hour of Body Pump then an hour of Body Combat....then and extra leg set Leg press 125 x 15, 150 x 15, 190 x 10 Ham curls 90 x 10, 100 x 10, 100 x 10 Calf raises 50 x 15, 75 x 15, 75 x 15 squats 200 x 15, 225 x 15, 250 x 10 Spent the rest of the afternoon with my boyfirend.....made sure to get my cardio in..... (Other than combat that is!) Dee Dee

Hi Julie I am moving my double wide to Mike and Kristie's house so I hope I get to meet you. My workout are simple. I lift till it hurts....run till it hurts....stretch till it hurts(yoga)....then do it again work hard...rest harder...eat lots of protein.

R U kidding John? Or are you really coming this way?? lift, run and stretch till it hurts??? Hmmm interesting philosophy!! Now if I could just LOSE THIS PAIN in my sciatic...i'd be doing ok.... My motto for the last week has been "MY BUTT HURTS!" Had many offers for others to help me work it out but nothings worked yet! Hope to see ya around too! Julie

We were all ready to take out the floor jacks and start rolling....but I could not figure out how to tranports my farm animals. I have a special sheep that I did not want to relocate.
