heart cath today.
I am home after the sand bag was taken off my groin!
They said they couldn't see anything wrong with my heart. Doc said it was perfect in the pumping motion and the blood flow!!!
God is sooooooo good to me!
The worse part was the pressure the nurse had to put on it afterwards! Owwie!
The second part was I had to be *****ed 6 times in my arms so they could put a cath in each arm. (But I gotta tell you the male nurse that finally came in to do the caths was a riot! I ribbed him so hard he was crying. He actually had to throw away a needle cause he couldn't see to put it in! Today was a good day.
Oh by the was It probably isn't a good Idea to make someone with a needle laugh so hard that he couldn't see either
I think one of the coolest things was that when they gave me the dye I had a flushing sensation go from my heart into my chest into my arms and finally into my groin....Hmmmm I don't think that sounds right
Any how, Just to know that is how quickly your heart pumps blood out was absolutely amazing! What a machine God created!!
Okay enought talk about flushing.....Just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and happy thoughts!
hugs and kissses, Tammy
YEAH!!! Yes, God is good! Amen sister
That is the part I love about being a nurse. The human body is a wonderment in itself.
I love patients like you. I bet he had a ball and you are probably going to be the highlight of his week. Thanks on his behalf for being such a great patient. It's folks like you that make our jobs worth while!!
Hmmmm warm fuzzy feeling in the groin...always good!
I am glad you have that peace of mind now!
HUGS!
