As I posted earlier, I ran today. During my run I started to get really tired and I wanted to walk. Then I ran by this tennis court and there was a man in a wheelchair playing tennis. I thought to my self "God has blessed me with good working legs. If this guy can play tennis in a wheelchair, I can certainly run a few miles." All of a sudden there was a bounce to my step and a determination on my face. I wonder how I will get some divine intervention on my next run
Awesome. Sometimes I think we forget to stop and smell the roses. I wish my mom would do the same. I see people with all kinds of disabilities working at OSU and it inspires me daily.
I try to think of people like that when I get down and depressed about stupid stuff you know? Sometimes you gotta step back and look at the big picture, right?
Good for you! You pushed right through it.
Funny, I had a feeling you would start back in with the running big time when the weather got nice. You know it isn't bad that you want to run instead of lifting weights!! Man, you are moving your body they way it was meant to be, and no matter what you do, run, powerlift, areobics, what ever, as long as you are pushing your muslces to their potential that's all that matters, and the most important thing is that you are doing what makes you happy!
Bless you and have a great day!
