When to start?
Hi! I had surgery 3/14 and have felt great and have had no problems. So far have lost 20 pounds.I'd like to start going back to the gym and weight lift. My doc says go ahead but I'm a bit paranoid as I don't want to get a hernia. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to what the best way to ease back into it is? I was surprised he told me that at 2 weeks...but I was also told my incisions looked like I had surgery a month ago. Thanks for your help!

I am with Earl. Take it easy for 6 weeks then slowly ease into it. I waited three months to join a gym.....but I walked my ass off the first 90 days. I did stairs at the mall. Stairs really got me in shape and ready for the gym.
