More PR's!!
I am finding that I do much better in my own gym than I do at Powershack. Earl thinks it's a combo of my own personal music preferences and less distraction. I can focus better.
I agree! Here's how I did today at home in my cold gym. My hands are on fire right now and I pinched a nice chunk of skin off my finger racking the dumbells, but it makes me aggressive and I lift better....
Something about me and that stupid dumbbell rack For those of you when knew me back when, I broke my finger racking a db back around Thanksgiving time...that SUCKED...and hurt like a *$#(#&^%# too.
Floor press close grip
45# x warm up sets
65# x 3
85# x 3
95# x 1
105# x 1
110# x miss x 1 YEAH I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!! New PR
Bench Lock outs
165# x 1
175# x 1
185# x 1
195# x 1 New PR
205# x 1 Not only a new PR but broke it too!!
Incline DB flyes
10# 3 sets of 12
DB Shoulder press
20# x 6
25# x 6 (pinched finger
30# 4 getting pooped out from massive benching
Side laterals 10# 3 sets of 12
Tricep Push downs (I forgot how different equipment can affect the way the weight feels) 40# 3 sets of 12. It felt like what 90# feels like at the shack. I think it has to do with the pulleys or something. We have older equipment.
Hammer curls 15# 3 sets of 12
Leg raises off the end of the bench
3 sets of max reps
DONE! Beat Earl too, he's still at the shack. We can't do his speed squats and my bench work out at the same time. Not enough room for both of us in there for that. gets tricky moving things around and trying to not clobber each other!
It's still snowing/raining here~ yuck
But Earl and I are going out tonight to get our on and our on! The band that played at my BD party is here again and I wanna go get it on!
See ya!
It's freedom baby....yeah...
Gargantuan work out, holy s!*t!!!!

Look at you go! Geez man...You and Earl with those doubled up workouts. Man I just can't do that yet. One, time is an issue, and two I just don't think I have that kind of endurance yet. I need to work on that big time.
IF the weather ever gets warmed up I would love to be able to on the weekends. So, I could do it at home. Going to the gym is a pain in the arse after you've been spoiled and worked out at home.
I guess last night could count as a two a day...we went and I did lots of cardio and repeated sets of reps with my Long Islands...does that count?
