Tomorrow is break day then back at it Thursday. Hope you all are having a great week. Hugs, Valerie

Nice Job Valerie, Sorry to hear about your friend. The weight room is an excellent place to channel sadness as well as other emotions like anger. We all need a vice and food was my old vice and the weights are my new one. PS. Wow....Some pretty heavy weights there lady....Someday I am going to get some courage and post my weights...My two year anniversary of my WLS surgery is Friday. I hope post a new picture Friday.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. The hardest part for me was that she had her wls on 1/28/05. She died one week later, to complications that were most likely unrelated to surgery. The part that upset me the most was her anxiety about having surgery. I believe that when God calls you home no matter what the time or place, it is your time to go, but it still is a great sadness for me. I know going to the gym really helped me work through it all. I spent 1 1/2 hours obtaining peace of mind over this. Exercise is really a great cathartic for all those stressors to be sure. Hey...don't be ashamed of your weight amounts! All my mentors and inspirations are lifting massive amounts of weight. Mine are meager in comparision, but I am out there giving it my all and that's all that matters, right? RIGHT! Val
