Alarm went off at 4am and got out of bed at 4:30 thanks to some encouragement from the dogs and cat. I made it to the gym this morning!! Yeay! I just stuck with 30 minutes light cardio again. I did 20 on the arc trainer and 10 on the treadmill. It felt ok. The usual joint aches and pains but nothing really bad. I don't think my heart rate broke 130 but I'm ok with that. I took Tylenol PM last night so I was still a little groggy when I woke up. Brr.. stil feezing here.. 14 degrees but feels even colder. We have some crazy winds. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Nice Job Stacy!! I don't know how you get up so early to work out. They say that moring is the best time to work out and you burn the most calories in those early am workouts.....I will never know....lol. I prefer late evening workouts. It sounds like your ankle is better. Have a great week.

Thanks but that really is a normal day for me. Dana usually has a client booked at 5:30 or 6am at the gym. If he doesn't have a client then we work out together. We also share one car these days so I have go in with him in the mornings even if I am half asleep. I just shower and get ready at the gym for work when I am done. That way we don't have to make multiple trips into the city. We live about 25 minutes outside of Baltimore and his gym is right across from my office so it is hard to come up with excuses not to hit the gym every morning =)

Awesome Stacy! I was picking my wife up at the airport here on the left coast. I just cannot work out in the am, I do the late night thing, so I will be working out when you MW and E coast peeps are sleeping, except Earl

Kudos to you! I am NOT an early morning person. I prefer my workouts in the evening. Usually right after work. There is no way I could get up, go to the gym, come home and get two girls off to school and myself off to work. But it sounds like it fits perfect for you! I am impressed. Earl is LUCKY he has a great gym where he works, so whatever he doesn't get in at the gym in town, he finishes up at work on his lunch breaks. As for tylenol pm, man that benadryl in it gorks me forever! Earl takes benadryl once in a while to help him sleep and he seems ok with it, I just walk around like a slug all day. Today is my break day, and unfortunately I am not going to get my training in tomorrow. Which is driving me nuts, but I had committed to speaking to a group at OSU about wls. Just an informal q&a session that I do for the Living Well classes. It's really neat. But, the timing is not good and I have a horrendous day at work tomorrow, so I am sure I will not be in a good mood by the end of the day. Oh well, I will pick it back up on Thursday.

Hello evryone, Exercise newbie here. I had my first trainer assessment appointment yesterday at 24 hour fitness. Today we do the circuit. It is good to know there is a board for my exercise questions. Is whining allowed? Nice to meet you all.... Sheryl

You can whine if you worked it hard Welcome to the best place ever, it is the one board you will not get flamed, or a negative response.
