I did my first Pilates class last night. My tummy is a little sore today....which means that it worked. We used big ball and bands to do exercises. It was good and I hope to keep doing it,.... but at this point I guess I prefer Yoga. I heard that it depends on the teacher of each specific classes. Each teacher does things differently. Today is cardio day and tomorrow is lifting. Sunday is couch potato day....woo hoo

One of these days I would like to try a pilates class. But I think I am with you on the yoga. Where are you taking these classes at? Today is rest day for me. Tomorrow is chest/delts/tricep/ab day with my cardio, then Sunday is legs/back/bicep day. If I am more energetic sunday I will try to add cario. My membership to the Wellness Center is up 1/31 so I think I might look at going to powershack. That way at least Earl and I can do our workouts together on the weekend. Where do you and your wife workout?

Karen and I were going to World Gym( which is a great lifting gym), but we switched to YMCA in December because it is better (and cheaper) for entire family(3 boys + exchange student...only $60 buck a month for all 6 of us!!!. Kids can play basketball. Pilates and Aerobic classes are included in price (yoga is extra). Exercise has become a family activity. Schedules permitting, we pile into car and go together.

Awesome, I love Yoga, but am interested in Pilates. I read your other post about the family, that is great, what a win-win situation when we as families are active together.
