HI GUYS!!! (AND GALS) I beat Earl posting today! Neener neener neener!! It was much quieter at my fitness center tonight. I must have missed the rush or everyone decided that one day was enough! Earl and I devised a two day split workout session for me, and I think this will work with my life and schedule much better than what I had before...so here goes: Bench press on the SM warm up with bar, 65# x 15 85# x 6 95# x 5 105# x 4 115# x 2 125# x 1 *NEW PR* Incline Flyes 10# x 12 x 12 x 9 Dips (on machine) New exercise for me 100# x 12 110# x 12 x 12 DB overhead press 15# x 6 20# x 5 25# x 2 Side laterals (these are kinda hard for me) 8# x 12 x 12 5# x 12 Pulls to face with rope 30# x 12 35# x 12 x 12 Tricep pushdowns 40# x 12 45# x 12 x 12 30# rep'ed out to burn Lying DB extensions 8# x 12 x 12 x 12 (short rest between sets) Abs 3 sets to burn, 2 reg and 1 obliques Tomorrow is rest day, then back at it Thurs, then Sat/Sun. Mondays are strictly cardio, and then cardio on Saturday too. If I can get another cardio day in during the week that will be good, but for now, I will be happy with two. Saturday we are going to go get our body compositions done in this BodPod thing that John told us about so that oughta be interesting! OK....that's it folks...tomorrow is hump day! Val

Sorry you feel icky. I am lucky, had that removed a few years ago...however I have two teenage daughters... We live in hormone hell. That's all I can say. Hope you feel better.

I will tell her hi. I have never done a plie, much less with a 40 pound dumbbell, I cannot go down stairs very quickly or my leggs want to buckle.

It is advertised all over out here, sometimes called the Ab Lounge Jack knife. It stretches you back to get more ab muscle involved. It makes evry crunch seem like ten, works the obliques better than anything I have ever done. Kristie cannot do crunches on the ground because of her back(Childbearing thing, and the shot in the spine) so this works because you are on a "Lounge" looking thing that supports your back. I am a Loooong way from skinny, but thank you very much. I am thinking you are most likely in need of a new pic yourself Chika.

I know how the back/butt thing is on crunches. It doesn't hurt my back, but I found out the hard way that I have no padding on my butt anymore! OUCH I have to put a matt down at the fitness center because it just hurts. Funny, I never knew bones could be so painful... I can even feel my spine when I bench. Man I don't think I will get used to that sensation.

I was not feeling well but I did manage to get in 15 minutes on the skiier. I was really bum out because it was only my second day of the Body for life challenge. Diamond
