Hey guys...ok got my book outta the big man's gym bag. It was nice to go back to Powershack for a change of venue. I got a free one week pass which will be nice while my facilities are under repair... Kinda an overall workout... Warm up on the treadmill for about 10 minutes...just to get the old joints moving BP (regular bench) Warm up with the bar 45# for 10 reps 65# for 8 reps 75# for 5 reps 85# for 3 reps Tried 95# but just ran out of juice! DB overheads 15# for 13, 10 and 8 Side lateral raises (learned that I wasn't quite getting the movement right and dropped to a lower weight for better work) Tricep Push downs 20# to burn 30# to burn 20# to burn 30# to burn Shrugs 15# for three sets to burn Worked on improving technique Abductor/adductor 50# 3 sets of 12 reps on each motion Hack squats in the machine, no wieght as my left knee has been hurting a lot lately. Don't want to blow that baby out...sounds like rice krispies as it is....ew Butt blaster machine LOVE IT LOVE IT 3 sets of 10 with 20# on the machine. Thats pretty much it folks. Really worked on good technique tonight. Earl will make an awesome personal trainer. I love it when he helps me out. See, you can teach an old dog new tricks, and I actually enjoyed watching my muscles move and get a pump. Never could see that before under the layers of fat! Have a great week guys! Val

Val, it looks like a great work out to me....except for the butt blaster....not my personal favorite but I am sure Earl was watching your technique on that exercise....lol... I am with you on good technique. I see so many guys in the gym with heavy weights and lousy technique. You and your Hubby have a marriage made in heaven....come to think of it thunder and lightening come from the heavens too.

You know it!! I do love the butt workouts, and yep Earl's a booty man, and I really have to work hard on those due to my lack there of in that department...sigh...so, I will just work it all the harder, and make my man drool in the process!! It is hard for me to have to drop down in the weights. I am used to higher weights from previous, and I feel like such a weeney wimp dropping the pounds, but it is all about technique. If it isn't any good, you aren't doing a daggone thing to help yourself out. So, I am trying to push the ego aside and work my way back up again...besides it isn't any fun if I can't punk the boys out a little...
