cardio...lower body work out

Weights: Hack squats 220#(Freemotion machine) leg press 360# SEATED ABS leg lifts Cardio: Treadmill I use Polar 625 to measure Heart Rate (HR) 39 minute on treadmill .Average HR 132 max 159 burned 604 calories during workout Treadmill set at 15% INCLINE with speed at 3 MPH At the end of Cardio lowered incline to 1.5% incline and cranked up speed to 8.3 MPH...that is when I hit 159HR....woo hoo. My actual tested HR max is 161( I think could be higher. I will have it tested againg next year) My "theroretical" high is 176 (220-44)

WAY COOL!! I am just learning how to run for the first time in my life. It is amazing. I don't understand all the percentages on the incline and stuff yet, as I am a fairly hard core weight lifter. The added cardio is new for me! I am getting my max heart rate up into the 135's give or take. Gotta crawl before you walk and I don't want to just jump in full bore with it yet. I learned hard lessons doing that before. Glad to see you here, there for a while it was just me and Earl, mostly Earl. He is able to get workouts in better than I can due to schedules, kids, etc... Val If this were easy my ex husband would be doing it!
