First....NO GUILT TRIPS ON YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was a hard one for me to get over too. Just do the best you can. I have gone long stretches without working out, get pissed at myself, get down even more, and the cycles starts and doesn't stop. I think that is part of the obesity behaviors that we have. So, just stop, breathe, and look at what you have accomplished. I started writing down everything I did in one day. I have a bad habit of trying to pack too much into one day. All it did was get me frustrated. But, when I would look at what I had done that day it totally amazed me. Get your workouts in when you can, enjoy them when you do it and just make an appointment with yourself to do it again. The fact that you ARE working out, even tho sporadic right now, is better than sitting on the couch eating chips and icecream everyday. We have posters all over our garage/gym with body builders and phrases that motivate you. Do something like that. Daily reminders of why you do what you do. I have one of my favorites hanging up that has this big guy ( oooh hunka hunka burnin' love ) that says "Shut the F*ck up and train" (It does say that bad word too....aaawwww) But it gets to the point, keeps me pointed in the right direction. Sometimes I just need to be told what to do! Hang in there Tanya! 93 pounds gone! That's a middle school child that you just got rid of! Imagine that!!! Oh, are you doing your measurements? That will be a big motivator too! Val

Tanya, You'll get no ass-kicking from me. First off: and and on all your accomplishments! You have lost NINETY THREE POUNDS!!!! That is quite amazing. I will just echo what the others have said and chime in that you are not alone. Most of us lose motivation, even though we know damn well what works. I am lucky right now in that I am still "golden" for weight loss and have the huge motivational boost that comes with that...I am trying hard to make exercise a habit so that when my honeymoon is over I will have exercise as a built in tool. I have a long history of being so sedentary I almost was sessile! YOU can DO IT !!!!!! And if after all this you still feel the need for a butt kicking, I am sure we can arrange it- I can always use the cardio!! ~Annie

Tanya.....what I had to do is say................Just get up and go, only if you do 10 mins, go for 10 min. Once you get going the endorphins will kick in and before you know it you will hit 30 mins or more. But the first thing is just get to the gym...........I dont care if you go there to get in the sauna ...........JUST GET THERE FIRST..........then you will see people that will motivate you, and make you want to excersise.
