I want to see what my max is on bench. Before surgery, it was 105, but that was without working out, that was just going in one day and doing it. How should I go about warming up, etc.? Thanks Guys! Jeanine

Oh yes, please have a spotter. I warm up by stretching really good! Gotta stretch get the blood flowing. Then I usually warm up with the bar. Then go from there. I am up to 95 now after surgery. Earl is right, I go up by 5# increments. For some reason that amount makes a world of difference to me, even before surgery when I was moving a lot of weight, 5# would make or break me!!! What's really depressing is that I benched 200 before surgery. I competed too. I am wanting to get back into competing again. My goal is to at least bench my body weight which is about 145 give or take. Good job on the press!!
