Need Advice from the Xperts!
Oh yes, please have a spotter. I warm up by stretching really good! Gotta stretch get the blood flowing.
Then I usually warm up with the bar. Then go from there. I am up to 95 now after surgery. Earl is right, I go up by 5# increments. For some reason that amount makes a world of difference to me, even before surgery when I was moving a lot of weight, 5# would make or break me!!!
What's really depressing is that I benched 200 before surgery. I competed too. I am wanting to get back into competing again. My goal is to at least bench my body weight which is about 145 give or take.
