I need to walk more. Period. But to tell you the truth, I am all over OSU during the day, and I don't mean leisurely walking either. I move at a pretty good clip. Just ask Earl.
I take my pedometer with me and most days I get between 8000-10,0000 steps in a day in about 1-2 hours worth of walking, so I know I am burning calories. Most of my lab work is on a timed basis, so I almost have to run to the lab (on the other side of the hospital) after I get done seeing my patients.
I am hopefully going to get a workout in tonight. I have another jam packed day of fun! But since it's Friday and I don't have to go in early tomorrow (Meagan does have tumbling at 11am and a game at noon) I can do a late workout tonight! PLUS EARL IS OFF TODAY!!! BONUS!!
I love working out with the big guy. He keeps me pumped.
