Question about Motivation
Hi Jason!
I find that when I watch Earl's video's of guys working out, like Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler and Dorian Yates, I get pumped up. Plus he has Powerlifting vidoes of competitions, and I love to compete, so that helps me. I am motivated beyond belief, I just can't get them into my already horribly packed schedule.
Plus, after I get finished working out, I feel so awesome! I use that as a motivational tool. I keep track of my workouts and what my progress is. When you see yourself making gains in muscle size and strength that is a great way to keep motivated.
This board is the GREATEST for motivation too! There are a lot of cool peeps here. Hang with us, we will keep you going!
Hopefully my hubby will hop on and give you some tips. Just remember tho, Earl is a freak, he is obsessive about his workouts. I wish I had half of his workout obsession. Plus his schedule. I am usually playing taxi to the kiddies and being on call at work. I am lucky to schedule a bathroom break somedays!
One great thing in your favor is that you are aware that you need to do something about this. You're not in denial and therefore it's only a matter of action. YOU CAN DO IT (and you will, too ) You said you have the energy, right? I think if you think about why you had the surgery in the first place, you will that lost motivation....
Oh, by the way, I am in NO way qualified to tell anyone what to do....
But I wish you well! Check back in with us and tell yus how you're doing, ok??
