I have thought about it. I know the program well. I have actually met Porter. To be perfectly honest he is very anti WLS! I met him at the Arnold Fitness classic and he just poo poo'ed it left and right!! Can you believe that? I think it is a neat comptetition!! I think you should go for it! I just started training hard core for powerlifting. I have thought about it too! I have all the applications and everything. I just need to get the photos and stuff. Wouldn't they just fall out if a bunch of us WLS patients enrolled???!!! But I will tell you we will give you all kinds of support and inspiration here! We all need to keep each other bolstered and PUMPED UP!!! Where are you at in the process? Have you started yet? Val

I just got all the paperwork and have been supplementating for a few weeks now. I am buying the food and trying to find foods I can tolerate on the list. I am also trying to get use to eating that much. I am never hungry, but I feel like such a pig eating that much. The plan is actually very good. I am a certified personal trainer, but I only became certified so I would not have to pay anyone to train me. It was more cost effective that way. I know a lot about fitness and am actually pretty average size. I just want to tone up more and build more muscle. I want to be more ripped. lol. Thank you for your response. Yes, I can actually believe that he would be against WLS most people who believe that all we need to do is back away from the table and exercise and eat normal usually have no clue what great strength and dedication we had to go through to have WLS and succeed. Have a great day. Teena, That is great. I am not currently doing that, but wanted to let you know, this is a great place to get support for your fitness goals. We are committed to fitness on this site, for sure. Keep up the fantastic job you're doing. What did it entail for you to become certified? I think I would enjoy working with WLS folks at the gym. Hugs, Chris
