Creatine anyone?

Hey guys! Question from Val. Does anyone use or plan on using creatine in their diets to increase their workout abilities and build up muscle? I know Earl does. I have decided that is has absolutely no value to me whatsoever. I tried it before gastric bypass, and it did nothing for me but make me get bloated and swollen in my joints, which killed my arthritis. So, I thought, well hey, maybe now it will help. But, honestly, all I did was pack on about 3 pounds of water. My fingers were so swollen I couldn't put my rings on. My toes and feet haven't been that way in a long time. So, I am convinced now that I get absolutely nothing from it. Just curious to see if anyone of you guys have tried it. BTW...I had a KICK ASS workout tonight. Benching was awesome! I felt really strong tonight...that is such a rush for me!

Earl can give you the low down exactly on what all it does. Basically it just adds "bulk" to muscle. It pulls fluid into the muscle cell itself. I think it is pretty harmless, just makes you retain fluid. I still don't get the big hoopla over it. So, I am opting to leave this one, but he uses it all the time.

what about amino acids...do you have any trouble with them?

I don't think I have ever tried amino acids...have I Earl? He helps me keep track of that. And, btw, I have done really good on my workout notebook. It is easier for me to write it down that the spread sheet. So, I couldn't answer that for ya, sorry!
