WHAT KIND OF ROUTINE DO YOU FOLLOW? OR IN MY CASE WHAT ROUTINE DID I FOLLOW.......MY LIFTING PARTNER IN THE NAVY WAS ABOUT 120 POUNDS LIGHTER THAN MYSELF AND WAS THE BIGGEST MOTIVATOR WHEN WE WORKED OUT...HE DIDN'T HAVE AN OUNCE OF FAT ON HIM.....ANYWAY.... MONDAYS...CHEST AND BACK...... TUESDAYS.....SHOULDERS AND ARMS WEDNESDAY....LEGS THURSDAY..... CARDIO....STATIONARY BIKE FRIDAY .....SHOOT FOR OUR MAX IN ALL CATAGORIES OUR REGIME CONSISTED OF PYRAMIDING...SETS OF 10-8-6-4-2 THEN WE WOULD REVERSE IT 2-4-6-8-10. IT WAS A GREAT WORK OUT....

When I was powerlifting I had my days as follows: Monday was bench day, Wednesday was deadlift and Friday was squat. Sunday was speed bench and then tried to get cardio in on the other days. I am at work while I am writing this so I don't have my exact exercises on hand, but when I get home I can elaborate. Earl can really help you the most on this one. He was the one who got my schedule down for me. It is a shame we all don't live closer. We literally have a gym in our garage. I am like you, I like having a workout partner, a motivator. I like training hardcore and loud. Earl, on the other hand, likes to train alone and not much talking. I like being yelled at (not negatively!) My nickname is "Diesel" and of course the drywipe board with all our records is appropriately named "Diesel's Gym". So that NO ONE will forget it!

No doubt! Just having someone there encouraging you to get one more rep in! Makes a big difference. A lot of women really don't train like that and I got some stares at the gym. Before I hated it, when I was heavy. Now I love it!! I can't remember the guys name right off hand (Earl will) but I like to watch his training videos because his partner is constantly with him pushing him on, that is where I picked up my nickname. I love to watch Ronnie Coleman train. He whoops and hollars and gets into it. I must admitt, Jay Cutler, who I have admired from afar, has to be THE most BORING person in the world. Oh lord, I fell asleep, literally, fell asleep watching his training CD. But, what ever he does wins him titles. So, I guess it takes all types! However....I think we are the fun ones!
