I had a bad eating week, guess I ate my emotions so I had a oh crap moment on the scale this morning.
Hw 368
Lw 173
Tw 178.6
Should be a better eating week since there is no funeral to attend.

I'm going to ask something kind of controversial and it's more of an opinion or maybe your experiences but does having a higher BMI cause more issues when you're having the WLS done?
I noticed that some of these people posting in the forums when their BMI is not as high seem to sail through ...is this an incorrect conclusion?
Hope they get it cleared up soon, and you can be on your way. I am sure it is disappointing though.
Keep us updated!

I have no weight to post today. Friday was 2 weeks post op for me. Until the Tuesday things were going quite well. I felt like I was progressing but Tuesday night I started having nausea and vomiting. This continued Wednesday by Thursday I couldn't keep anything down and I was in pain. Friday I went to emergency and was admitted to the hospital where I still am today. Apparently I have some soft of partial blockage and inflammation. I am in a holding pattern at the moment with an iv, anti nausea medication and pain control. Not sure when I will be released.
I consider this just a blip in my journey.

I know the feeling. I felt like I lived in the 180s for forever. And now I think I will bounce up and down in the 170s for a while. I happily saw 170 earlier in the week, but today it bounced up to 174. Sigh. But it's ok. I'm trying to be happy in the here and now with an eye on the future. My final goal is a healthy BMI too. I've never had that in my adult life and I want it.

Hi weekly weighers!
OH is being wonky for me this morning, so I hope this post doesn't get eaten!
The scale is still slowly ticking down, so I cant really complain. But I will anyway hahah I just want to get out of the 180s! I feel like I live here now! I'm so close to losing 200 pounds! I know it's just a matter of time.
Also, I realized I do kind of have a goal weight in mind now. Chatting with a girlfriend yesterday, and I said I'd like to get to a healthy BMI, which means losing about another 35-40 pounds.
After I said it, I was like huh, that actually seems possible now. I think it's going to be a lot harder than the first 200, but actually possible.
Stats:
HW: 378
LW: 181.8
TW: 180.1
Goals: 178 (200 pounds lost). After that, 140-145, the top end of a healthy bmi range. Hope everyone has a good week!
Edit: to fix format!
