Good afternoon Erin and the weekly weighers gang!

I am happy to report that I've dropped all the regain from the holidays, yay! My weight has fluctuated 5 pounds more times than I'd like, but it will come off!

Stats:

HW 309

LW:165

TW:160

5 pounds seems like a lot, but I think I was up due to water and sodium.

Bummed the last 2 days I was 159, then I messed up and had a brownie yesterday - my first sweet item since surgery. I ended up with some scary RH, so that won't ever happen again.

Goals: to get back to the 150's and then on to 145. Only having 15 pounds to lose compared to the 150 I've already lost seems like nothing, but it's getting harder and harder.

Yeah.. I wouldn't worry too much about a random 5lb gain. It'll come off quickly :)

I'm thrilled that I'm so close to my lowest weight again (149 - July 16). My weight has been super fluctuatious (I made that word up) in the last 7 months due to surgeries and recovering. I finally feel like I'm moving out of that phase of my life. I'm eating well and, FINALLY, able to start moving more. My body is already feeling better after doing yoga every day last week. I've got a long way to go to regain my full range of motion that I had 7 months ago, but I'm finally at the point where I feel optimistic that I will get there.

And, hey, only 6 pounds to go to reach normal BMI. Although, I wonder, will I ever feel that the word "skinny" applies to me? Or even "thin?" Right now I tend to use words like "smaller" and "thinner." Will I ever feel that I have a right to claim the words thin or small or skinny for myself?

I'm finally feeling better from my cold.

I got a car from my brother for Christmas so I'm excited about that. He had some work on it so it should go for awhile.

Morning Weekly weighers!

Well, i am not sure what is going on with today's weigh in. I was up 5 pounds from Friday. i know its just a fluctuation of water or something (right?!). i did eat a ton of salty stuff, and not great for me choices, but not 5 pounds worth! I literally put my hand on my head to see if something was sitting on it. hahaha i don't know what, like a 5 pound hat?!

Stats:

HW: 378

LW: 165.1

TW: 168.3 (but tues-friday, i weighed in at 163.3)

Goals: get.under.160. what.the.hell.

How are you all doing post holidays?

Yes! Onward and downward. That's exciting that you've picked a goal weight. I've set mine at 145 for now, which is the top end of a healthy BMI. I'd like to get a bit below that, but to be honest, just getting under 160 is all I can take on right now hahahah

Hello! It's good to have you back Erin.

As we talked about today, I think I mentally gave myself permission to be in maintenance for the month of December - well a good part of it anyway. I started December at 169.8 and today I'm at 166.7. Lowest weight this month was 164.1.

HW: 294.6

LW: 166.5

TW: 166.7

Next goal- also to be out of the 160s

Happy to say that I have my head back in the game and looking forward to seeing the lbs come off again. I've decided on 135 as my goal weight.

Welcome back! I also had some gain over vacation - probably due to eating my 10 year old nephew's body weight in cookies.

Next goal: normal BMI!

I'm finally back to a "normal" schedule of showering in the morning, which also means weighing daily again! This is super exciting for me. And I'm able to start building up my exercising again. YAY!

Morning everyone!

I am back from my trip to Germany. We flew in yesterday. I loved it, but I'm also very happy to be home!

How did everyone make out over the holidays? I had a wonderful time with family, and definitely indulged, which I think is normal. The challenge now, is how easily can I switch back to eating on plan, and get the scale moving downward again! I am dealing with some carb cravings, and hoping I can white knuckle it for the next few days.

I gained a bit of weight, but to be honest, I had mentally prepared for it to be a lot worse. Between the higher carbs, not drinking enough water, bathroom issues, flying etc, I'll take it!

stats:

HW: 378

last weigh in was dec 15: 161.4

TW: 165.1

Goals: get under 160.

My monthly weigh in is the 8th of each month. As of now, I'm on track to have lost zero pounds for the month, so I'm going to try and not let that happen. I mean, it's not the end of the world, but it's not what I want to see in my stats if I can avoid it!
