This was a really good week!  I'm officially down 70 pounds from my 1st WLS consult!  This next week is my 3 month surgiversary, and I'm hoping to hit 289 which would be 50 pounds down after surgery.  Fingers crossed!!

High weight: 378

Weight at 1st WLS consult 7/13/15: 363

Last week: 298.9

Today: 293.1 

Next goal: under 278 (which is 100 pounds down from my highest)

HW: 378 | 1st Consult: 363 | Surgery: 339 | CW: 182

Had a good week, but oh well.  I have my 1 1/2 year follow up appt next week, and I was hoping to be at/under 200 by then, but I'm not gonna make it.  New timetable is I'm going to try to make it by New Years.

The holidays, but maintaining in spite of it all is good. The holidays thankfully will be over b4 you know it. I'm already getting tired of Christmas music & the drive to buy over n over for those special someones!

I realize the week is almost over...I've had an extended Holiday with my Son and family visiting. My weight has been fluctuating 1-2# with holiday eating but not crazy. Wednesday is my 'official' weigh-in day, so here are my stats:

Highest ever 420+

Highest at surgeon: 383

Last week: 203

This week: 204

Next goal is "normal BMI", which for my height is 149.9 lbs.  I'm painfully close, but I guess I can be satisfied with not putting any pounds on over Thanksgiving.

So I've been silent on these forums for a long time, but i'm jumping in now to be more active!  I need something to start holding myself more accountable as I've been hitting a lot of stalls lately....and cheating with my food choices lately. :(

I wish I had waited until today to post. the scale said 224. It is such a tease, I know it will say 226 on my next weigh-in day. lol it is such a jerk.

These posts worry me when I see them, as I guess it's the surgeon that has told you it's a "sadi ds"? 

 

These are in fact two very different surgeries, but I've heard there may be a few surgeons doing the sadi, and billing insurance for a DS (DS is a known and usually covered surgery, where as the sadi is NOT, and is new and considered experimental as there is NO long ter data on it yet).

DS and sadi or Sips NOT THE SAME SURGERY. PERIOD.
