Great job, Melinda!! I am so happy for you!! Keep up the good work!!
I am still holding steady. I want to lose a few, but am not really doing anything to make that happen, so I guess it is what it is. I go back to school in 2 weeks so getting back on my regular routine will make it easier for me.
Here are my stats for the week:
- 5'7" tall, 49 years old, 7.83 years out from RNY
- Highest Weight: 339
- Goal Weight: 140
- Last Week: 140
- This Week: 140

I was able to lose more again this week so I had a good week! I took Cynthia's advice on a thread of mine to start weighing daily since I've been hovering around my goal weight. I have been getting obsessive about it but if I'm honest I'm obsessive with it right now since I'm so close anyways. Now I'm 1 pound away and I can't believe it. I'm going to work ridiculously hard to meet that goal this week!!

Mute-- as you get farther out you'll thank your luck stars for those 'just a pound' losses. Size 8-- woohoo!!
So I learned a lot this week. I'd been in a horrible up/down trend, that was leaving me mostly maintaining to gaining. Posting to this weigh in post every week gave me some great insight to deal with it. I knew I needed to shake things up and drink more. My epiphany came to me Monady-- I decided to drop breakfast-- which I was eating out of habit, not necessity. I instead drink water/no calorie beverages in the AM's, to boost my liquid intake. (I don't have hunger.) I'm still eating between 3-4 meals a days, but they are composed much differently. And I squeezed in An extra exercise day- but it's a quick exercise. Started this on Monday and I've consistently lost each day thereafter. So while my average weight for this week is higher than last (b/c it started off high) I'm SO looking forward to next week!

next goal: onderland (and it actually feels achievable now!!)

I think my hang up is the whole bmi chart. I am so close to being "normal". Do I want to stop now where I am content? Or will I feel like I failed myself in the future for not pushing to no longer be overweight? It is something I have to think on.

Well I'm still hanging out in the 170's, feels kinda weird to not be actively trying to lose a lot of weight & instead stay within a certain range. I'm not sure how to take just staying here & not go lower, to not obsess about the bmi chart thing & not feel like a failure. I know I'm not, but I guess when so much of my life was lose, lose, lose, gain, gain & gain some more for good measure, feels weird to just maintain.
Kudos to you Melinda in reaching those single sizes! It must totally blow your mind!
Well my stats so far:

I'm kinda not far where you're at & picked a weight similar to yours & I decided to "hang out" in the 170's. I also like where I'm at and kinda picked a number out the air. I decided to try maintenance for awhile b4 deciding to go lower.

Single digits??? I started at 26/28 too and the idea that I could be in single digits was crazy. Soooo happy for you.

I haven't lost anything this past week. Really for the last month. If I am honest, I am not even trying anymore. I am at a point that I am happy with my size. Other than wanting and needing to have plastics in the future I love where I am now.
I am officially 20 pounds from the goal I pulled out of the air when I first started this journey. I guess I am just trying to decide if I want to hang out here for a while, or push just to meet my arbitrary goal.
