Weekly Weigh-in 19/06/17-25/06/17
Haha. Recovery is challenging, that's for sure, but it's better every day and I've never had a single moment of "OMG what did I do to myself?!" which I was sort of expecting to go through. I'm tired a lot, which makes sense. I'm starting to feel trapped at home, which makes sense. I have limited brain time each day, which makes sense. But these are are like secondary complications that come with any surgery, if you know what I mean?
And my weight is 159.7 today. w00t :)

Good morning everyone!
I'm trying to get back to posting here regularly. :) I need all the accountability I can get.
My weight is kind of stuck- last week I hit a low of 207.1 but went up 2 lbs and that's where I'm at today. We are in the middle of packing for a move- we have a small house so there's no room for the boxes, and the furniture and the stuff that's not packed yet so it gets frustrating to say the least, and cooking is a challenge- which means there has been a lot of eating out. Always protein but like Erin said, very likely higher sodium and so on. Everything will be done by Tuesday, so it will improve after that.
2017 has so far been a year of great changes. Started with my surgery on Jan 12, now the move to our new house which is about 500 square feet bigger than our current house. Still not big but it will be fine for us. We've lived 9 years in an 1100 (1650 with the basement) square foot townhouse with 3 kids, so we feel like we've really made out well not that we have about 2000 square feet including basement. It's a back split and every level is finished. And then in 2 weeks time my office is moving to a brand new building. Our oldest finishes high school at the end of next week although his grad won't be until November.

Have a wonderful week
I love that line - pick a lane brain LOL
I am post surgery as well, nothing as fun as plastic surgery or at least fun in the idea that something exciting is going to be happening afterwards. I am post rotator cuff surgery wearing the instrument of torture a brace for six weeks.
Have been having a hard time eating solid food sometimes which honestly I think it's part of the braces problem because I got a 4 inch piece of metal circling my rib cage and my diaphragm.
I went into the surgery at the low-end of my maintenance range, and I'm just trying to maintain which is not that easy after surgery - eating a lot of protein and eating more carbs and calories than normal.
Highest ever: 420+ pounds
Surgeons consult: 383 pounds
Day of surgery: 164 pounds, little less than two weeks ago
This week: 161 pounds, equal to my lowest weight ever.

Hey folks! Well my saga of year 3 starting off as a beast continues! Monday I weighed 193, today I'm 199. Ugg- this. Is HARD. Saturday & Monday were my worst days, and I expected a gain- not continuous gain. In review I see my calories are higher, not necessarily from bad choices- but from foods calories dense and protein poor (i.e.- hot dog instead of my usual turkey sausage with breakfast). So working on the turn around, which sucks because my birthday is Tuesday and I'll have no wiggle room to indulge. I'm even exercising 5 days a week now instead of 4...no good deed...
