Weekly Weigh In: 11/14/16-11/21/16
Hi all,
thought I would kick us off this week! Things are still trucking along for me, weight-loss wise. I need to get back into being more active though. I have a membership to the Y and haven't been back since surgery! I was stoked about the great deal I got on some New Balance running shoes, until I found out the white nationalists just endorsed New Balance as their shoe of choice because of the CEO public endorsement of trump.... sigh shoe burning party anyone?

Mute, I keep thinking about your normal BMI post. It still seems so far away for me, but I have to say I'm still looking forward to getting under 300 and moving from super morbidly obese, and into very morbidly obese hahaha baby steps!

This week, I went to my first yoga class in a decade. There's a studio just a few blocks from my house that I tried out, and they were very welcoming. I will definitely be back, and it felt so good! I had to do a lot of modifications, and it was a beginner class, but it's exercise!

That's great! I love yoga. I need to get back into it! I've been to a lot of different yoga studios, and have yet to find one that isn't welcoming. I love when instructors include modifications automatically when leading a practice, especially when you're new and might not know how helpful a block or two can be!
If im trying an instructor I'm unfamiliar with, I usually ask if they can include some modifications, just in case they don't usually.
keep it up!

I am in Maintenance and am an everyday weigher, have been since the beginning and stand by that as part of my accountability. I did CAMAW and had a medication change and as I said last week- the weight came right off I was back to 162 which is the low end for me...
Pre-WLS my body always fluctuated in weight day-to-day alot... and guess that is still a part of me now that I am not trying to lose. So part of my mental struggle is being OK with the number as long as it is in my maintenance range. I can easily go up and down 2-3lbs overnight on any given day and then sometimes I will be steady at a number for days... Yet to go up 3lbs- did I eat an extra 10,000 calories the day before? Of course not!
So the mental dialogue still exists, it has changed a little...still trying to figure out this thing called maintenance. Lose and gain I have a life time history with- staying the same, not so much...

I'm a daily weigher too. I think it's a huge part of keeping me sane hahaha. My weight fluctuates massively, but keeping an eye on the trends is heartening. I can see how maintenance is going to be a whole other minefield!

inteesting on The new balance thing-- I'm too cheap to shop sociAlly conscious-- lower price will always win. They have to be boiling the skin of infants for me to step away from a bargain ;-)
Itty bitty baby steps- is where I'm at. I still need to get back to a solid 1000 calories-- teetering over 100-150 still. Exercise is on point.

Hi everyone....
High weight: 310
Last week's weight: 251
This week's weight: 244.4
I reached my 3 months post surgery on the 15th. I must say I am very proud of myself and my progress. I am so motivated to lose this weight and be healthy. I am having fun throughout the process, with challenges with friends on Fitbit to push me to do more. I must say I have not been 244 in a very long time, maybe since 19ish....I feel better and look better. Although, my knee like to give me problems. I will keep pushing.
Goal weight 1: 233 pounds (10 pounds to reach the first goal)

Hi all, I have lost the same 3 pounds all month long. I too am a weigh every dayer and am glad to find kindred spirits here. I am slightly bummed that this month's total will be low but I take heart that the over all number is less. I do have a couple questions. How do I edit my profile? How do I add a signature bar with all my weight loss numbers?
