Well I'll start it off this week. Thanks to the last camaw challenge on the rny board I got over my pb chimes candy & nut butter habit, but I got this crazy cold that seems reluctant to leave. One minute too cold, the next too hot, ugghh. So sick of soup  That's it, calories don't count when I'm sick, it's a rule right?  My stats so far:

High weight 366

Last week 175

This week 175

Next goal 150's & in the green of a healthy bmi.

High Weight: 377

Last week: 191

This week: 190

Next goal: 185

I have 15 pounds to go to my goal and I'm thinking of resetting it to 150...but will not do that until I actually hit my original goal! But my app also told me that I would be hitting it around July 6th which is my cancerversary and this week pushed it back a week...and I'm a bit obsessed with trying to reach it but that date lol. We'll see.

Good for you in getting so far & wanting to reach your original goal & who knows maybe you'll get there by the date you want!, just know it's ok if you don't. You've done really well & are a cancer survivor on top of it. So I tip my hat to you.

I've thought about revising my goal too, but I'm still going for the original goal first, which I kinda picked a number out the air & wonder if I'm being realistic or just coping out. I like to finish what I started. I'm incredibly stubborn this way.

I try to think of it like that but I'm super obsessive sometimes and I saw that damn date on the app and now I'm like I WANT IT lol!!

And yes, I need to reach my original (and arbitrary too!) goal first before I truly revise my goal. I get ahead of myself often!

Last week was tough since it was our last week of school. Everyone wants to show their love by bringing us food!! I know I don't have to eat it, but I do. This week is a detox week for me!!

Here are my stats for the week:

  • 5'7" tall, 49 years old, 7.75 years out from RNY
  • Highest Weight: 339
  • Goal Weight: 140
  • Last Week: 137
  • This Week: 139

I got as low as 134 a few months ago. I may try to get back there again. My knees feel better when I am lighter. I walk around 7-8 miles a day and can really feel it when I am up a few pounds.

I got my fitbit scale and could not get it set up. I then read all the reviews and they were terrible so I returned it. I think I am going to get a Withings WS-50. I have the 30 now and have never had any problems with it.

This summer I am going to work on lowering my bodyfat percentage.

Ahh food is love, definitely grew up this way. I'm amazed you get down so low & that your knees can feel the difference when you're up a couple of pounds. Have you tried bike riding? It might be a little easier on your joints. I know I have 1 knee that acts fussy sometimes.

I still haven't gotten into the habit of walking as far as you do every day, no wonder you got a million steps in! Every time I start walking far I start thinking if I had my bike I'd be there by now! lol I'm gonna try to do more ot & save up for the treadmill I want.

i bought a Garmin scale but I can't use the other features till I set up an account, wish I had known that b4 I bought it.

I'll admit I am too uncoordinated for biking

I love walking. I walk around 5 lakes in my neighborhood every day. I feed the ducks and pick up litter while I enjoy the view (the litterbugs drive me insane but today was pretty litter-free). It's peaceful for me and keeps me (somewhat) sane.

Get that treadmill!!
