T, hope you had a wonderful birthday :)
I celebrated my birthday this last weekend since mine is tomorrow - hard to do much in the middle of the week. So I didn't go crazy but I did have a bit too much angel food cake (sugar free) with sugar free strawberry sauce. Speaking of which I had some more last night. I need to have DH throw the rest away because I will not be able to resist if it's in the damn house. But I did still manage to lose 1 pound so that's a plus. I am getting nervous because I have 2 vacations coming up - 1 is next week in GA but that's a wellness retreat so I'm hoping I will be able to maintain or lose. It's just hard to judge portions elsewhere you know? The other is in a month and that one I'm worried about!! It's a book conference for a week and I'm going with 2 foodies who know I had WLS and are super supportive but still...also I will be at the conference all week and standing lines and that seems like it will be difficult to eat healthy since there isn't much beyond beef jerky that's easily carried like that. I don't eat protein bars but I guess I might have to.

Next goal: ONEderland... it's sooo close, beckoning to me!!

Down a whopping 7 pounds this week. This, after being down 0 pounds last week. I'm assuming I probably lost a few of the pounds last week, and a few more this week, and that the scale was just playing silly water retention games last week and that's why it registered as 0.

Yes, those silly water retention games will get you...

One of those weeks TOM is on her way in a few day. was down to 215 this week. Cannot complain I wasn't really moving this week. I'm on the hunt for 210 in the next 3-4 week. I gotta get moving, and I noticed I have replaced some water with coffee. SO I am limiting myself to two coffees per day, which I will soon cut down to one. I did boot camp at the gym nearby my house today. I surprised myself. I was moving at brisk pace on push ups, and all the abdominal work. I did great tat the squats, but I have realized my lunges need work. I've never really bothered with them. But the trainer does, so I am practicing those and bicyle twists all week. The bicylce twists really had me at my limit of my coordination abilities. Thank God I wasn't chewing gum or it would have all fallen apart. LOL. I was disappointed there weren't planks. I had just gotten good at those!
Have a great one, Love to all,
Kiri
