I don't know what changed for me this week but I lost 5 pounds - for me that's a lot! I lose 2 pounds almost every week, 3 if I'm REALLY lucky. I started doing pilates but 2 times a week for 20 minutes. And my body cannot do all the things the video is doing so it's really more like 10 minutes out of the 20 minute video lol. Soo yay to the 5 pound weight loss but no idea how it happened!
High weight: 377
Last week: 295
This week: 290
Next goal: 277 (100 pounds!!)

Great news!
I LOVE pilates. It's really freaking hard and it was so much harder when I started. But now I've been doing it for 15 months. While there are still things that I can't do, and things that are really hard, I've come SO far. It's really amazing. And pilates makes me feel so strong and capable. I've only been able to do 1-1.5 classes a week due to scheduling, but when the fall term starts in September I'm going to be able to do 4-4.5 classes a week. I'm so excited since I really feel like pilates is better for me than any of the other classes I take.

It's harder than I thought it would be but I feel that it helps me target certain areas that I really need to target - like my arms, which have always been my least favorite part about myself. I have a video that does 10 minute segments that target different body parts so I do it on my lunch break right now (I work from home) and I combine the different parts that I want to do that day. I'm hoping the more I do it and the more weight I lose the more I can do all of the things in the video!
You will definitely improve if you stick with it, and you'll feel so impressed with yourself as you do!

Do you do Pilates on those machines, or just on the floor and stuff? Always wanted to take it, but everywhere I checked was so expensive.
