Weekly Weigh In 8/17 - 8/23
I haven't posted one of these in a while! I'm FINALLY back to where I was in April and trending downwards. It's taken a few weeks of being very conscientious and working hard to reset my brain to get out of the bad habits I'd fallen in to with all of the travel and #dadcancer stuff that's happened since March, but I feel really great about where I am now. Yay!!

I had a strong week, working out 5 days/week... then I completely BOMBED on Friday evening and BINGED. I forced myself to put it all in MyFitnessPal to let myself know that it is NOT OK. My binge Friday night came out to 1535 calories, 121g carbs (53g sugar), 71g fat, and 102g protein. I'm suspecting that my weight loss will be pretty poor the coming weeks because of it. With my Monday weigh-in, I was surprised to go up only a small amount.

Next goal: I was hoping to get under 300 before surgery... instead going with my monthly goal of reaching 318.6 by Sept 4th (10lb from Aug 4th).

I had a wonderful weekend visiting my best friend in Chicago and going to a book event I was really excited for. I'm not at a place where I find myself ever bingeing in those situations. At the book thing I was super hungry because it was a 5 hour thing on Saturday but all they had was chips, brownies, and pretzels - none of which were going to work for me. So I chewed gum and drank water and I was happy to never be tempted to eat any of it. And I've started eating fruit and veggies more which makes me really happy. I've missed those a lot but I've been scared to add them into my diet. So far the peaches and strawberries I've had haven't been a problem for me :)
