Weekly Weigh In 8/3-8/9
I feel like I've been saying I'm stressed for the last 2 months. Shocker...I'm still stressed lol! But I had my appt with my new therapist last week and I loved her immediately, which is a big deal because I haven't lived the ones I've tried locally 2 years ago. So yay, I think she will be helpful and she even knew things that were actually correct about gastric bypass - it was amazing. I had 2 interviews for a job last week and then found out they didn't choose me so that was a huge bummer since my major source of stress is my job. But then I decided to start a new business venture - I've always wanted to get into editing. That's what I went to school for but the publishing industry was a different world then and I chose not to relocate to a big city but now it's possible to do that from your home. I have been in the book world for a few years (I write reviews) so I know a lot of authors and bloggers...so I started a business page and got my first client. I'm cautiously hopeful.
All that to say that I still have a lot going on! I really, really wanted to be under 300 this week!! But this morning I was at 300.2 GRRR!! But for the first time I'm under a BMI of 50 so I'm choosing to celebrate that :)

This has been a roller coaster of a week on the scale. I don't know what my body is doing but it's driving me crazy. OK not really .... but I hate seeing up 3 pounds one day, down 2 the next, back up three. I'm eating the same. Just give it up already.

Well the carb monster is slowly realizing its fate & is reluctantly going back to its cage. It reminds me of the dog you take for a walk & now that its time to go home must stop & smell everything every couple of feet b4 you have to pull at the leash to get him moving again.

OK this may be TMI, but we can talk, right? LOL... yesterday I was up 4+ lbs from my lowest this week... but I have been constipated. It rears it's ugly head big time every couple of weeks. So Monday night I took the magical elixir(Miralax) and had some movement yesterday after my weigh-in. How full of S*** was I? 4+ lbs.... When I go up I always worry... that I really did gain weight and it wasn't just a fluctuation or constipation.

I'm getting so close to my arbitrarily selected goal weight; I don't want to screw it up now. Stay the course!
I keep telling myself something similar. "Stay focused!"
