Weekly Weigh-In 7/27-8/2
Well the carb monster has broken out of its cage & is running amok & terrorizing the villagers. This wasn't the gentle giant I luv fruits, veggies & all things healthy carbs guy. No it was the sugar & all things unhealthy carbs running around.
Add to that a sore swollen back from me doing I don't know what, period bloat, & serious exercise derailment that had my weight doing a serious yo yo pattern. So now I'm doing a Lord of the Rings thing(think Gandalph & the you shall not pass!), to get the carb monster back in its cage. My stats so far:
High weight 366
Last week 220
This week 212
Don't believe the hype, a lot of this was carb bloat & water retainment, the week b4 last I was 213, so I figure I'm just holding steady right now. How's everyone else?

I'm having a really ****ty time in general. Trying to get my depression in check, found a therapist and have an appt tomorrow night. Hoping that helps. I hate my job so so so much and that is the main source of my stress. I'm either going to be let go or going to quit soon so I've been looking like crazy for a new job which adds to the stress. Basically I'm a big ball of stress and depression right now! BUT I haven't turned to overeating for once in my life so that's something to be thankful for!

I'm just holding steady in the low 180s and not breaking through to the 170s. I know why - I'm overeating. But I've had a few long and stern talks with myself and I'm ready to get things going again. I've been in the low 180s long enough. I've adjusted to my body which was something I was having quite a bit of mental distress with, so it's time to start progressing again.

That made me laugh... yes the carb monster terrorizing the villagers. You never know when it is going to show its ugly face. Today I am having a "I want something sweet day" and made myself a sliced and sauteed apple with SF salted caramel syrup... it was delicious but made me want more... so I decided to make a second protein shake - SF white chocolate syrup, almond milk, ricotta cheese, vanilla whey and a few frozen strawberries... very filling- Strawberry White chocolate cheesecake smoothie. Sometimes I do want to fill full... I know that is not necessary but old habits die hard.
Went out to eat a lot this week because it was my birthday. I was happy with my choices. Did eat a few bites of cannoli cake...yummm but controlled myself and got up and tossed the rest so I wouldn't keep picking.
