Ok so I'm 1 week preop and as of this morning my scale is dead. I weigh every day I need to, in order to keep me accountable. So I'm on the market for a new scale, it needs to be accurate up to 400 and I would love to have one that does a body fat % as well. Can anyone recommend one that they like. Please and Thank you.

I use the FitBit Aria scale.  It does BF (not sure how accurate it is) and it syncs up to the app on my phone so I have access to it at any time.  My highest was 348 and it registered it, but I'm not sure what it's max is.

Thanks Jen, I was thinking about the Aria, but I wanted to get a few opinions on it before I sunk that much money into a scale.

I have a Withings and love it, but am about to start using a fitbit so I may switch to an Aria scale so they are in the same system (plus my Withings does not calculate body fat percentage and I want a scale that does that)

I have the Withings that does body fat as well, and I love it.  But if you're going to be (or are already) a FitBit user, I recommend going with the Aria.

Another good thing to do pre-op is to measure yourself! I found that when my scale would stall I was actually loosing inches.

I have a scale by Balancefrom I bought from amazon.com EXTREMELY accurate & they replace it if it dies or doesn't work when you get it for TWO years!  Read the reviews.  They actually honor the warrantee with no hassles. No BMI thingie but a GREAT scale!  It was only $23.17 with my free Prime shipping.  I also bought a kitchen scale by BalanceFrom with the same high reviews and warrantee. I bought "BalanceFrom High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale with Large Backlight Display and "Step-On" Technology [NEWEST VERSION] (Silver)".

I've gone through quite a few scales over the years, and one thing I'd suggest is getting one with a limit that's a few dozen pounds above where you are now. Even if you're confident you'll never gain weight, I've found that scales tend to get a little touchy and inaccurate when they're near their stated limits.

I have a MyWeigh XL 700 now and I've come to actually like the "talking" feature -- I get a lot more accurate reads when I'm not fidgeting around trying to look at that tiny little readout!

In my experience weighing every day is overkill. Your weight is going to naturally fluctuate day to day and really isn't a good indicator of your overall progress (in my experience). I used to do that, then I went to once a week, now I do once a month and I have found that suits me just fine and I don't freak out over a small bump in weight one day to the other.

As for scale, I got this one and I have been happy with it. http://www.amazon.com/Eatsmart-Precision-Bathroom-Technology-440-Pounds/dp/B0032TNPOE/
