I'm on my way!

Received the final approvals from my Pulmonologist and Cardiologist today. The Cardio is ecstatic, the Pulmo not so much. They have both done their best to get me" in shape" for the surgery. Nothing is without risk. I feel confident that my surgeon will do her best. She is aware of my age and risks. She said she has operated on quite a few heavier, older and sicker( a relative term) than me. Having the Surgery at a great hospital. All in all I don't think I could do better than that!

Congratulations on your approvals. It has been such a wonderful growing and shrinking experience and I wish you the best. I hope you get scheduled soon so you too can be on the losers bench!
