And THAT is one of the keys to maintaining the weight loss: Continuing some type of support, staying mindful that this is a lifelong effort, and having some type of personal accountability.
None of the people I know personally who have regained a significant amount of weight after WLS (and type) have maintained their presence here (or other online support) or at their in-person support groups.

Other stuff about me:
I've become an exercise fiend post-op and do over 10 hours of "formal" exercise a week. Plus I'm just more active in general. I spend a few days every month in PA to help my parents out/deal with my dad's cancer battle. I take voice lessons and belong to a local college choir. I'm poly and live with my two amazing partners. I've got two kitties. I'm a foodie and still try to cook really exciting food and enjoy the occasional restaurant trip :)

You are so right... This forum used to always be busy. I know it is easy to get busy and forget to pop in and update. For me it got hard to use my phone or tablet so coming in here is less. I will introduce me, my name is Sherrie, 43 yrs old, SW 654lbs, lost 444lb... Love and no regrets with my RNY! 12-16-10 is when I had my RNY surgery, so yes nearing my 4yr surgeversary!! I will always be a work in progress as when I reach my goal I will have to maintain! Blessed, loved, empowered, strong, and determined! I will succeed in all things I do, not all things may be exactly what I set out for but with open mind, patience, and positive attitude I know I put full effort and will love me. So many doors and windows have opened since gaining abilities!
Hugs to all of you, you all are amazing!
