Thank you for your kind words. I think learning to love myself was key. I make good choices now and know I deserve to treat myself well and be at a healthy weight. I learned to put myself first instead of everyone else. Only then can I be a better mom. I take responsibility for my actions. I do not make excuses and blame everyone else when I mess up. I quickly forgive myself for slips and move on from there. For me, the mental part is definitely the hardest. I have seen so many people who had surgery the same time as me have serious regain already. I am determined not to let that happen to me. I will continue to fight for my health everyday.

Maureen, I'm thrilled to see how well you are doing with your sleeve, as that's the surgery I am considering.

I'm very happy with my sleeve.   Many will try to convince you that it's not the best option for people with high BMIs, but it works if you follow your program.  Best of luck to you!

200lbs in 10 months?  Wow!  Amazing job!  I try to search for people that have a close starting weight as my own, I am only 10lbs lighter than your starting weight.  It is so reassuring to see the success of someone that I can relate to.  Congratulations on your success thus far and continuing success. Do you mind terribly if I friend request you?
