Thanks everyone for the advice, thoughts, prayers, etc. I went to the surgeon on July 22. I was down 11 pounds. He was pleased but still will not do surgery until I lose 10-15 more pounds. I go back August 26.
If you work hard and stay committed, I'm sure you'll be able to lose the rest of the weight. Your doctor has reasons for making you lose weight. Good luck to you, and keep us posted.
