Monday Weigh In
Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a nice weekend. I spent the day on Saturday at a Children's museum with my grand kids. I think that's the best way to get exercise!
So how's the weight loss? Its time for our Monday weigh-in.

I havent had surgery yet, still waiting for my surgery date, but I did go to Trade Days with my family (its like a big flea marker at a state park) and I have lost 4.6 lbs.
Oh Happy Monday Everyone,
My body is sucking today. I actually gained which I haven't done since prob 6 mos.
Surg wt 4/10/13...350
TW.....3/17/14....181
I haven't eaten more or anything off my plan. Im actually at over 90oz of fluids. Im thinking its lack of protein...haven't been eating much or my protein shakes. Im doing them today tho.
OTOH, I tried on a sz 8 at Cato...they fit perfectly. My sz 12 Levi's are too big...I wore them today to the specialists appt. Its very strange for me and makes absolutely no sence.

Good job, everyone! Tia, don't worry about the small gain. Your body is still trying to recover from your illness. Just keep on truckin! :-)
LW: 203
TW: 200.6
So close to being under 200. I didn't weigh yesterday because I am trying to stop doing the every day weigh thing. It's hard though! I am gonna try not to weigh again until Saturday.... or Friday. LOL
Have a great week!
KittyKarin :-) Starting weight: 362 / Surgery weight: 353 / Current weight: 190 (03/27/2017)
Hey KittyKarin,
Thank you for that. It freaked me out for a minute but Im ok with it. Ive gotten my protein back in order today. The Mitodrine the dr had given me for the orthostatic hypotension acts almost like a speed of sorts. I have, since day one post surgery, had issues with not being able to have bm's on my own...well this med has solved that lol...daily. Im hoping to be off it at some point but that part I will miss. Other than that, just hanging in there. I was able to sit on the couch and vacuum, sit on a stool and vacuum, put a stool in the kitchen and did dishes. So, little by little. Im to call him if things aren't better or i have concerns but i have to keep track of my bp and no work/driving another 2 weeks. He's hoping it runs its course within a month. He said he sees this a lot with wls pts but moreso with gastric bypass. I can not wait to let the RN at my practice know this when i go in for my year visit next month. Shes the one who said not to blame the surgery. I wasn't blaming the surgery...just asking if this could be from losing a good amt of wt in a short period of time...The correct answer would have been YES.
Thanks for everything!
tia
