Hi Everyone,
I haven't been able to weigh as I cant make it to the scale. Im battling a severe case(im guessing) of orthostatic hypotension and have basically been on the couch except for the bedside commode...how lovely. I spent 5/6 days in the hospital, cardio started me on med which is not working. I called him today and he wants me back in the hosp tomorrow. Im following my plan with the addition of some pickles for salt, cottage cheese and v8. Im so not hungry and ive upped my oz of fluids. Im 10.5mos out. Ivc fainted twice and many, many times of almosts. I should be enjoying my sz 12's and my life but there is no enjoyment now. Sorry for the bummer...just wanted to update. I counted on my Monday weigh in. Now I don't know where I am but the 170's would be nice and are probable.
Take care all. If you pray, I could use prayer.
Thanks,
tia
I hope the doctors figure out how to resolve your issues ASAP!! You have a lot to think about right now. Do not worry about the scale. You may be up from fluids or medication. It will all settle down when you are well. Get in your fluids and get your rest.
Hugs!!

Hi Laurie,
Thank you! Dr wanted mee back to the hospital Tues so I went. They did more testing, rehydrated me some, upped the med they gave me and reminded me about more sodium and liquids and let me go. I came home and was able to make it to my scale...was really bothering me. I weighed in at 178...yaaay!!! Im drinking more, eating sensibly...my woe(way of eating) and trying to walk some...still too scary.
I'll be honest, I cant wait till this all settles down and Im back to normal...hopefully, prayerfully soon. The longer it goes on the more fearful I become.
Take care and thank you.
