Weekend plans or NSVs to share?
Happy Friday! I thought I'd create a thread in case anyone wants to share weekend plans or NSVs that they had this week. I have my best friend coming to visit me this weekend and I'm so excited. No matter what we are doing, we always have fun together. He and I have been friends since elementary school and I miss him now that we live 4 hours apart. :-( I'm ready to start my weekend with him and his entourage!
I feel like I have NSVs daily. Anytime I can keep up with my stepsons, fit into size 14 or 16 jeans, go out without makeup and still feel cute... all of these things make me appreciate how much I have gained from losing weight. Just the fact that I don't dread going out in public anymore is amazing to me. I really need to focus on that when I get stressed!
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

I'm getting my hair did this weekend--redoing my Brazilian blowout thing. After 35 years of naturally curly (crazy) hair, straight hair is a lot of work but completely worth it. I've already retired one pair of jeans and I need to look in my storage bins to see what I have lined up next, so I'll probably do that this weekend. I've been eyeing our elliptical--technically I still outweigh it by 50 lbs, but I might hop on and see how much it groans! :D

BFF's from elementary school are the best!! I don't get to see mine very often but did go visit her over the summer. Good times!!
Nothing too exciting on the agenda this weekend. We have a football game on Saturday (I am my daughter's cheer coach) and a cheer competition on Sunday, but other than that I got nothing. I look forward to 2 weeks from now when cheer is over and I can RELAX!! The end is finally in sight. I love coaching, but it is completely exhausting so I am thankful when football season is over.
I definitely like blending into society now. I hated standing out like a sore thumb when I was obese.
Have a great weekend, everyone!!
