How did everyone do on Halloween???
I usually eat something at the holiday time and do not sweat it, either, but for some reason did not want anything yesterday. I am still a mystery to myself even 5 years out

We gave out candy (the Costco chocolate mix) and I was sorely tempted, but due to an experience with a packaged mashed sweet potato thing, I'm pretty sure I'm a dumper and I did not care to confirm my findings! We were very generous and still have some left over and I'm going to have my husband take it to work. I'm looking forward to next year and a cute costume! :D

It is best to always assume you are a dumper!! Do not even try anything until you are much further out. I know that helped me get to goal. People who test the waters too early tend to sabotage themselves.
Next year you will definitely be rocking a cute costume!!

Didn't go off plan at all but then again I'm not too much of a "sweets" person. It is hard when there are soo many good things around, but the way I think about it, is that next year when I can eat normally and by that I mean a regular healthy diet of normal foods and not strictly this or strictly that, I will be able to indulge once in awhile and not feel like I'm being looked at or judged because I always hid my eating from everyone, because it's embarressing to be the "fat" girl eating the cookies or the brownies. But next year I can nibble a little, maintain my healthy diet and just feel like a normal person. I think that's what we all really want :)
Must be nice to not be a sweets person. My daughter is like that. she can have one bite of something and stop. Not me.
I love blending in and feeling "normal". You will be there before you know it!!

Hang in there!! I have had hunger since day one, also, but still managed to get to goal and stay here. I just have to work around it.

I am so glad that you posted this Laura. I eliminated artificial sweeteners after I wrote an expose article on aspartame. The truth will make your head spin! I switched to stevia, honey, real maple syrup. I did not put two and two together until I just now read your post. My cravings for carbs and sugar were eliminated and I was very much able to handle eating clean without any problems after my TT. However, my husband began stocking the pantry with aspartame again and not stevia so I have been using it again. And the past few days I have been into some of the junk food again. TIME TO CLEAN MY SYSTEM OF THIS TOXIN!!! And now I know to never return to eating aspartame again (or any artificial sweetener)!!! Thank you!
