Curious and need reality...x posted
Hi everyone,
My husband and I went to lunch yesterday which we rarely eat out due to our scheds and me not wanting to.
We went to Red Lobster. Off my plate in ate 2 crab legs and 4 long, skinny green beans. I wasnt stuffed but comfortable and satisfied. At 6.2 or 6.3 mos out, how horrible was this???
thanks,
tia
if anything that sounds a little low there is not much meat in a crab leg
I eat a 4 oz lobster tail and some veggies with no problems at 3 months , my sleeve (Beany) loves lobster and it is full of great protein , crabs are also great
and grean beans are very low cal
Sounds perfectly fine to me. I don't think of food as "good" or "bad". It gives it too much power over our lives when we do. Food is food. I am much further out, but I have made my peace with food and for me, I eat anything I want in moderation.
The mental part is the hardest. Work on that and you will be successful long-term.

My sleeve really doesnt hold more than I ate which still surprises me. I do under eat it but not by much...maybe at a year out it will change. I love the crab legs and its something im still glad I can eat as shrimp, beef, pb and eggs still dont sit...I get it every time we go anywhere. My gf's and I are going out Sat night to a grand sea food place we go to occasionally called Pickle Bills. OMG pre op it was awesome lol and its funny but it still is.
When I go off my plan so to speak i kinda freak a bit. Its like needing that re assurance, yes even at my age:-)
Thanks all,
tia
