So I have been doing really bad on the eating front. I have not been counting carbs or calories. I have been SO stressed out and kinda down lately. I have been using food as a comfort again which I know is a bad thing to do. I am getting myself on the right track and pulling myself outta this whole. I haven't gained and I think it's because I am still exercising but I know I could be doing so much better.
Back to tracking today and digging myself out of my carb hole! :-)
On another note, there was a little dust up on other forums about the "lightweights" thread here and I just wanted to say that I hope that won't stop anyone from posting and venting frustrations. I love this forum and I am not going to censor myself or stop myself from posting my true feelings because someone else may not like it. I'm not gonna be rude or disrespectful to anyone but I have a right to my feelings just as they have a right to be offended. Ok, that is all! :-)

Hang in there, KittyKarin,
I still get urges to eat junk, but so far I've been able to hold them off. Just look at how far you've come, and how good it feels. You deserve health and mobility and happiness, and you can choose health!
best wishes,
Carol

Awe. Hang in there. Be kind to yourself. Make a side-by-side before/after pic to remind yourself how far you have come. I was having a down day and did that today. It made me feel better.

Things have lurched to a complete halt scale-wise since I hit my goal, even though I have not altered my eating or drinking. It's really strange. If it's a stall, it's the first real stall I've had, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I really want to try to lose more if I can before I declare true maintenance and try to figure that out. I'm still points above normal BMI range, and I don't think all my excess skin amounts to 14 pounds' worth.
I've lost an additional half-inch from my waist and 1.25 inches from my hips. I guess I'm going to be clinging to such NSVs if no more weight comes off on the scale. :-/
Thanks for listening.
Actually, I should qualify my statement about not having altered my eating or drinking. My proteins and carbs and all haven't change, but I have changed up some of the food I was eating. No longer buying the Target chicken breast strips, but rather I'm eating plain ol' chicken breast now. I've also stopped eating the carton egg whites and have switched over to whole egg, adjusting for it in my daily plan. The numbers are really the same, but the weight's stopped coming off. Frustrating.
From what I've read about plastic surgery, the excess skin could weigh more than you think. You might be closer to goal than you realize. Are you going to do plastics? I'm thinking I will when I'm done with weight loss, depending on how much elasticity I still have in my 64 year old skin!
best of luck,
Carol

First, I don't want to forget yet again to congratulate you on breaking that stall! You're just doing so terrifically well!
Re plastics, I'm still on the fence. I am beginning to see a reason to have at least the belly skin removed one way or another, but if I did that -- and found a way to pay for it -- I would probably stop there. I'm not crazy about the idea of going under the knife, though, especially with everything I've got going on all the time here and with my very elderly parents to oversee.
