NSV: picture of me and my brothers
Maybe some of you can relate to this. I have 2 brothers who have never had a weight issue. When I was obese, I felt like I did not belong in my own family. Now that I am 200 pounds thinner, I finally feel like I blend in.
I graduated from Auburn in 1988. My brothers graduated from Texas A&M in 1990 and 1996. Saturday was the first time our teams played against each other in College Station. It's an hour from our houses so we all went to the game. It was an amazing day.
Here is a picture of my brothers and I in front of Kyle Field:

What a cute pic! I'm sure you had an amazing day! It's so encouraging to see that even years after surgery, you are still appreciating all the wonderful things about keeping the weight off. I'm sure that is a huge reason why you have been so successful... you definitely seem like it's something that you think about often and you don't forget where you started.
I have always been the biggest one in my family. My father is thin and never had a weight issue. His whole side of the family are tall and lean. My mother and sister have to watch what they eat and exercise so they don't become overweight. My mom's weight goes up and down but my sister is a size 4 and is obsessed with staying that size. She works out once or twice a day and is very strict with her food intake. I obsessed about food too but in the opposite direction... LOL. Hence, I ended up SMO. It's nice to feel a little bit more normal now. We took some pictures with our cousins this summer and I felt like I didn't stand out quite as much! :-)

Awe... thanks for the kind words. The mental part is definitely the hardest, but i do think I appreciate the little things and that makes me stay diligent.

You look amazing!!
I know how you feel re: feeling like you don't fit in... I felt that way around all of my cousins (and I have many on both sides of the family). I'm starting to feel like I'll have more confidence during the next family gathering!
BTW - not to be creepy or anything... but your brothers are super cute! lol!! You three making a good looking family!! :)
