I went to the thrift store today which I really like.  I pulled 3 pair of jeans off thinking  I could try them on.  All of my 18w's were too big so I literally had no pants.  I pulled off 17/18, a 17 and a 16(which i thought was an 18...guess I was tired.  I asked to try them on and found out they have no dressing rooms!!!  So my husband says if they dont fit, you'll get into them soon.  Hmm I was bummed all the way home.  I dont want to pay full price for anything now and didnt know my size. I thought maybe, with luck, a straight 18.  So, I paid under 15.00 for the 3 pair which btw look new, trendy and nice.  I get home and fear set in...they arent going to fit blah blah.  Well, all 3 pair fit...one pair is a 17 skinny jean!  Ive never in my life that I can remember worn this size and quite honestly, i dont even know what these sizes mean because i always thought 15 or 17 was jrs sizing.  Im in heaven!!! I still dont know what size i am but they fit and i am their new proud owner!!!

My sv today...God  has blessed me to have this surgery.  I weighed in today at 249.75.  I was 251.25 on Mondays weigh in. YAY!!! Its a hair over 100 lbs...100.25 I think. Starting at 350 I am so proud to see that #!!

I had to share lol, my loving husband is awesome  but im not sure he gets it lol

Thank you all!!!

Thank you all!  I cant wrap my head around it for some reason.  I started with the band 10 yrs ago at 486lbs so ive hit 100lbs off before but for some reason, this is much different.  I was thinking about this last night.  The last time I weighed anywhere close to this wt. was at age 16 when I did Nutri System...i hit 225 but then went off and that was that.  Im 48 now and this feels different...almost surreal in a way.  I want it to be real.  Only 4 of my best friends and my one sis know about the surgery.  When they ask me how I feel I honestly dont know how to answer.  I mean i tell them I feel great cus i do but I dont know how I feel.  I mean Im greatful and Im blessed...but my insides are twisted...I dont know if that makes sence but...I spent the majority of my life in the 300/400's...maybe thats why.  Insight is always helpful:-).

I am going to love thrift shopping lol.  Tho my 30th h.s. reunion is next month and im looking for a killer dress.  Prob...im not sure what size i'll be!

congratulations!  I went shopping a week ago at an outlet center.  Got up my nerve and went into Talbot's outlet mainly because they were having a sale.  Told the salesgirl I didn't know what size I was and that I had had gastric bypass.  Between that salesgirl and another I had so many things to try on.  They were so helpful and I left only buying one top but it was an XL - long way from my highest 3X.  Isn't it great!
