Question for Nikke....
Lisa, so sorry that I didn't see this message until today. I have been SO busy lately... something I actually wrote about in my last post on the VSG board and blog (3 Month Out Update)
As far as exercise goes... from the supervised diet to now... the only exercise I have been getting is walking. It has served me well so far in my journey! It's easier for me to do my walking during the day before I'm even done with work, that way I don't have to worry about it when I get home. I park my car 25 minutes away from my office and so by the time I get home, I've done 50 minutes already. Then, most nights my husband and I take a 25-30 minute walk around the neighborhood. So, I'm getting about 60-80 minutes of exercise 5-6 days per week.
I do recognize though that I'm starting to get into the territory where I don't think that walking will be ENOUGH anymore. I think I am getting to that point where I have to start stepping it up. I'd like to start lifting weights to get some definition in my arms (even though I know my bat wings won't get any better) and I'd like to do core exercises. I think that is the next step.
