gonna try something old ..lol
starting to day no carbs!! going to try detox myself this week. I have noticed they are creeping up on me again snacking here and there ..lord help my co workers today!!!...any one have any suggestions???... I am going to try my 1st week post op plan not sure I can manage that much of a change but here I go ...lol

Suggestion: four small meals per day if possible, each one lean-protein-dense and protein first. Leave plenty of time before AND after meals for your fluids. Hot tea can be very helpful.
From what I understand you just have to white-knuckle through carb withdrawal for a few days until that little thing inside you stops screaming for them. Literally tell yourself "no." If you have to you can employ the old idea of imagining your child self wanting to eat that stuff, not realizing it's not good for them. Gently but firmly tell that self-image, "no, that's not good for you, and I care too much about you to let you eat it." Like I said, old psych stuff, but it's helped me.
