There is definitely a relationship between what you eat, exercise level and weight loss. I have proven to myself that I can lose at the same rate at almost 3 years. It reauires fine tuning your plan. I averaged .4 lbs per day pre surgery, post surgery and now post honeymoon.

At some point it really is calories burned minus calories in. You are in control good luck!

Trickle is a slow down- not a stoppage.  You may not lose 30 in a month. You may lose 10.  But if you are consistently losing, that is a good thing. It is not a sprint, it is the rest of your life. The first six months is faster because your stomach was swollen for part of it. It is at it's smallest. Your calorie deficit is at its highest because your weight is at its highest.  It is biological that you get slower eventually, but your life and health will continue to improve.

I wouldn't say that month 7 is a lot harder than month 6.  You may need to move a little more and be more mindful of what you eat because you will more food options than you did in month 2. You will also have more physical mobility. You will still have plenty of restriction.

BTW, many people get more lax about their food choices as time goes on even if they don't admit it to others or themselves.
