Hi all,

I have a question.  I'm almost 9 wks post sleeve, wl going fine i think.  I've found since surgery that I'm not hungry most of the time...sooo thanking God, surgeon and sleeve for this one.  However, with that said, do I still eat evven tho I'm not hungry?  I mean i'm hungry prob 2x's a day...otherwise mostly just trying to get fluids in...still not at 64 oz.  So, do I eat 3xs a day if i'm only seriously hungry once or twice daily?

Hi Atia,

Congrats on your sleeve surgery.

I would eat 80 grams of protein a day no matter what. You need to eat to lose weight. Starving is not a good idea.

Enjoy this honeymoon period. Your pouch is still swollen

Try to stay away from bad carbs as long as you can.

Blessings,

Sharon

It will help to set a schedule to eat and stick to it. That way you can train your brain to recognize food as fuel for the body - not something we should let our minds dictate :)

Youre doing good - enjoy these days while they last.

you will have to eat at least 2 times a day maybe more to get all your protein in , your probably only getting 2-3 oz of protein a meal

You do not want to risk permanently messing up your metabolism by not eating or losing the weight and keeping it off will be impossible.
