hello all

I am new and just wanted to say hello, i have my.first face to face appointment with my.surgeon next week! (via video link) I am.very excited, i live in northern ontario and will.have to drive 9 hours and be in the city for one week.when my.date comes, lots of planning needed for the trip, time off work for me and the dh, finding a sitter for our kids and dogs, it will all be worth it tho!!! Very exciting time i.have enjoyed reading everyones posts

Hi Amanda! Welcome! This is such an exciting time, try to enjoy it and not get too anxious.  I hope everything goes great with your surgeon appointment... have you decided on which surgery you will be having?  If not, there is lots of information on here about each surgery to help you figure out which may be best for you.  Good luck with getting everything in place for the surgery.  Glad to meet you! :-)

In ontario they only offer.rny and gastric.sleeve, i.think i.will.be having the.rny

welcome , getting started is the hardest part 

wow a 9 hour drive, no way to fly in or out

 on the way home you will need to stop and walk around every hour to prevent blood clots , can you do the testing nere your home , blood work, ekg, endoscope. ect 

 is the best forum for heavy weights
