on the waiting bench

I was told I have 4 more weeks to wait till surgery wow, I still need to lose 6 lbs , then I move to the real losers bench, I already lost 69 lbs pre op

I'm so happy for you, Mickey! You have been doing great and been a huge support to all of us. These next 4 weeks are gonna fly by! You are goin to do awesome.

69 lbs is amazing!!! Way to go.  The 4 weeks will seem like forever, but when you look back it will be a VERY brief moment in what will be the rest of your life on the losers bench.  Congrats!

I'm joining you there - I think I'll be getting my date next Friday, probably mid-July (we're waiting for one more test).

waited over a year for the initial consult, but rather than just sitting around & waiting, I did my research, found out what parts of our VERY comprehensive program could be done in advance, and did them. Doc was impressed by that and is rewarding me by rushing all the other tests & exams that are needed.

I'm down 80 lbs, can now bike 10K and walk 4K and am anxious to get this stuff moving!

I agree! I have no complaints about the wait, it's been a good thing. But now that the date is almost here, I'm getting impatient!!
